In 2021, I took part in the “VKHUTEMAS 100. School of the avant-garde” exhibition, a large-scale project of the Museum of Moscow in honour of the 100th anniversary of the main creative institute of the country. Under the guidance of the curator of the woodworking and metalworking section Dr. Alyona Sokolnikova, I created a model of the workers’ club using sketches from the archives. These sketches were developed as part of the graphic project by the students: B. Zemlyanitsyn, V. Kulganov, K. Kudryashev, under the leadership of Anton Lavinskiy and Sergey Chernyshev for the “International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts” in Paris in 1925.

It was assumed that a workers’ club could be set up in any building. For such adaptive reuse, students developed different types of transformable furniture with constructivist propaganda designs.
