Kontisen Talo

Kontisen Talo is the Finnish name of Marina’s family home in Sortavala, Karelia. The flat is part of a 19th century wooden house designed by Oski Leander. The building used to be public. In the past, there was a textile shop, a grocery store and a café. During World War II it was damaged and reconstructed to a residential building.

Work on the project is currently in progress. More photos will appear soon.
