Yugo Apartment

The Yugo Apartment is an 88-square-metre rental property located in the Vračar area of Belgrade, where Marina lived between 2023 and 2024. The project focuses on preserving the character of the 1974 building, which still retains its original layout, wooden floors, windows and doors.
The interior is defined by a mix of Yugoslavian, Italian, Nordic and Soviet furniture and lighting – comprising both vintage and contemporary pieces. Much of which was either salvaged, purchased at flea markets, or brought from previous home. Many pieces have been personally restored, and several decorative elements, such as the curtains, tablecloth, and sofa upholstery, were handmade by Marina to complement the space.
